I agree with Roy Cleverly's comments on the present situation in Gorse Hill, the installation of traffic lights and the loss of our local shops.
Our MP Michael Wills states he is still awaiting a reply regarding the 2000-strong petition he sent to the Team leader Traffic Management protesting at the new traffic management measures in Gorse Hill on April 25, 2003.
More thought should be given to illegal parking on pavements in the area, which restricts people with prams and trolleys.
I also sympathise with the bus driver regarding vehicles parked at bus stops in Victoria Road, near the Adver offices and opposite. I frequently use these stops and it is a nightmare trying to board a bus sometimes it just has to go right on past or stop in the middle of the road.
