A bus shelter in Westbury that fell into disrepair after being hit by a bus has been removed.
The shelter in Station Road was hit by a bus at Christmas.
But after seven months of decay Wiltshire County Council took it away on Wednesday and are promising a replacement.
County council spokesman Adam Butcher said: "The bus shelter was erected as part of a county council initiative to install new bus shelters on major routes across the county.
"The shelter was clipped by a bus some time ago and its condition deteriorated to such an extent over the subsequent months that it needed to be removed."
A new shelter has been ordered and will arrive later this year.
