A FULL Andover team were just too strong for a United side missing four first choice players on Wednesday night.

But Jamie Bradley and Ben Gardener did themselves proud having been given a chance to play.

Justin Bennett, who had a trial with Premiership team Portsmouth earlier this year, opened the scoring for Andover with a crisp strike on 15 minutes.

Bennett conspired to miss several glorious opportunities during the rest of the match, particularly near the end when one on one with Mark Batters who smothered the ball at his feet.

Chances for United fell to Jerad O'Pray, Bradley, Wayne Wheeler,Tom Welsh and Matt Burton but none really tested the home keeper.

Andover's second goal was bizarre, Batters mishit a clearance against Michael Jackson and the ball rebounded into the goal off a post. This was a good United performance despite the scoreline.
