FORMER Black Swan landlady Kirsty Brown is settling into new surroundings after switching to a pub in Bradford on Avon.
Miss Brown, 29, and her Australian partner Alan Toomey are hoping to make a splash at The Barge after 18 months in Trowbridge.
Miss Brown said she was ready for a change and was looking forward to developing the canalside pub's range of homemade food and getting to know the locals.
"My partner is a chef and we wanted to explore the food market and make an impact," she said. "We sold 70 roast dinners on our first weekend here.
"The location is absolutely wonderful, we couldn't have asked for better."
Miss Brown's first landlady role was at the White Swan, Castle Street, Trowbridge, 10 years ago.
The Black Swan, Adcroft Street will remain open with new management expected to take over within the next month.
