HORSES and riders were put through their paces at a dressage competition in Southwick on Saturday.
Riders from all over west Wiltshire took part in the Champagne Challenge.
Each year, the Saxon Dressage Group holds a more lighthearted contest, and this year it rounded off the day with strawberries and cream.
Show secretary Sarah Jacobs said: "We hold shows every year but this one is more laid back.
"Each competitor had to compete in two rounds. The person with the most points won a bottle of champagne."
The dressage club started in Bradford on Avon and holds events all over west Wiltshire.
Miss Jacobs said: "Most of our members have been doing dressage for a number of years and want to have some fun.
"We do a lot of dressage to music and in pairs."
The club welcomes new members who must be over 16.
First prize went to Nicki Jones on Ollie, and second prize to Colin Dryden on Cottage Coral.
