AFTER 33 years behind the wheel, Trowbridge driving instructor Noel DeCuhna has decided to hang up his 'L' plates.
Mr DeCuhna began as a driving instructor in the RAF, spending two years in Germany where he taught HGV driving.
He started Noel's Driving School in Trowbridge in 1972. At that time there were just three other driving schools in the town.
Noel said: "Things were hectic in those days and I found myself working 72-hour weeks!"
Noel was presented with a golden Jaguar to don the bonnet of his car by his colleagues at the West Wilts Driving Instructors' Association. He remains active in the community as the chair of the Trowbridge Road Safety Committee.
