Ref. 13846GREEN-fingered Scouts have been adding a touch of colour to a Trowbridge nursing home.
For the past year teams of four from the 1st Trowbridge Scouts have been working on a raised garden at Trowbridge Oaks in West Ashton Road.
The project began last year and since then teams have been back at regular intervals to work on the project, which is proving a big hit with residents.
The diamond-shaped box garden has formed part of the nursing home's entry into the Trowbridge in Bloom competition. Staff at the nursing home envisaged the garden as a community project so enlisted the help of the scouts.
