The victims of the under-achieving RUH must not despair! They must fight for their rights by contacting our excellent MP, Dr Murrison, and writing to our very compassionate and caring Wiltshire Times.
The elderly who are most likely to suffer neglect need the young and healthy to fight for them.
We all get old, and one day soon today's middle-aged may realise that there is no better time than now to make the RUH a hospital we can be proud of.
Do not accept a 'Wait and See' policy from your GP. This may go on your medical record to say you do not want urgent medical intervention. If elderly always ask your partner, or young relative, or friend to go with you to see the GP. A good GP will welcome this.
Take notes on what your doctor tells you. Write to your doctor if you are not happy with your treatment.
There are some excellent doctors locally. They will be pleased that you take an interest and are co-operative.
