PURTON bid tomorrow to reach Worthing in the National Double Rinks.
They compete at Wootton Bassett (10am) in one of the four regional finals being held simultaneously around the country.
The winners of the four finals progress to the EBA Championship finals at Worthing on August 16.
Purton have been drawn against Barnstaple while in the other morning match Aldershot face Chacewater (Cornwall). The two winners meet in the afternoon with that place in Worthing at stake.
To reach this stage of the competition Purton have won six matches.
They have beaten Calne, Malmesbury, Rodbourne Cheney, Wootton Bassett and Spencer Moulton 53-31 in the area final.
Then in the sectional final they grabbed a nailbiting 38-37 win as they overcame Clevedon 38-37.
Skip Chris Cheesley secured the vital one shot for victory on the 21st end against the legendary David Bryant.
Match winner Cheesley is unavailable tomorrow so Purton bring in Terry Maynard to replace him and jig the other seven players around with Ian Williams moving to skip.
