A PHOTO competition is offering the winner a chance to model for a national calendar but only animals need apply.
A Swindon veterinary hospital is asking pet owners to enter snaps of their animal companions.
Entries should be submitted to Drove Veterinary Hospital, in Croft Road, or any of its eight branch surgeries across Wiltshire.
The picture which best captures the pet's "personality" will win a professionally-painted portrait of the animal.
The winning pet will also be featured in a 2004 calendar published by Frontline, the flea, tics and lice treatment for cats and dogs.
All pets, besides dogs and cats, such as, hedgehogs and horses are eligible.
The closing date for entry is August 29 and the competition will be judged by animal healthcare company Merial.
A total of 500 veterinary surgeries are taking part and the winner will be announced next month.
