I too can't praise the ambulance service enough.
They came to help my husband after he suffered an unexpected seizure in May.
At the time I didn't have a clue what was happening to my husband. I thought he was dying and I was hysterical and in shock.
An ambulance car arrived with a male paramedic who was very reassuring and helped calm me down as well as helping my husband. He arrived in approximately four minutes and then just a few minutes later another ambulance arrived with two more paramedics.
My husband was taken to A&E and yet again we were very happy with the people we came in contact with while we were there. The doctors and nurses were excellent but everyone we met that day showed us how wonderful the GWH is. Cleaners, porters, radiographers, restaurant staff and receptionists all made a difference to what was a horrible day for me.
My husband has since recovered thanks to follow up appointments at the hospital. Thank you to everyone and keep up the good work!
