HISTORY enthusiasts are needed to join a team of guides at the Lady Margaret Hungerford Almshouses in Corsham.
The unique, Grade I-listed building is open to the public, and extra guides are needed to volunteer two and a half hours a week to meet people who visit the building.
No special skills are needed, except a love of history, enthusiasm for the heritage of Corsham and a pleasure in meeting people.
The almshouses were recently refurbished but remain essentially unchanged since 1668.
The building is open to the public Tuesdays to Saturdays from 11am to 4pm from Easter to the end of September.
For further information telephone (01249) 712833 or call in when the almshouses are open.
