AN array of colourful kites will be flying over Lackham Country Park on Sunday when the White Horse Kite Flyers put on a display.
Kites of all shapes, sizes and colours will be flown throughout the day, with opportunities for children to take part in a kite-making workshop and fly the results on the spot weather permitting.
The gardens, Rural Life Museum, Woodland Walk and Animal Park will also be open and cream teas will be available all day.
The country park is open from 10am to 5pm and admission is £2.
Lackham Countryside Centre will also be the venue for Wiltshire College's summer holiday activities, for children aged eight to 12, and 12 to 14.
The first week of activities runs from August 18 to 22 for the younger age group, with woodland discovery trails, felt-making and scavenger hunts.
For the older age group three days of sporting activities from August 27 to 29 will include football, badminton, basketball and volleyball.
The activities run from 9.30am to 4pm and cost £12 a day per child.
