EXCELLENT bowling from Richard Colbourne set up Damerham's victory over Michelmersh & Tims-bury II in the Hampshire League Regional Division Four West Central.

With only Joy, 27, in form, Michelmersh were removed for 96, Col-bourne taking the excellent figures of 12-8-5-5. Despite Mark Fiddes claiming 3-12, Damerham won by seven wickets thanks to Mark Harvey, 30, and James Kidd, 31.

Ordnance Survey II were indebted to Daley, 70, and Taylor, 41, for their 166-8 with Rob Holbrook, 4-44, and Paul Burgess, 3-37, the pick of the bowlers. With only Gibbs, 26, resisting John Perry, 6-8, Centurions were routed for 55.

Langley Manor III were demolished for 63 with Andy Bundy, 4-27, leading the attack. Cranborne swept home without loss thanks to openers Tim Lampert, 48 not out, and Billy Walters, 10 not out.

In the New Forest League, second-placed Burley II lost ground on leaders Hythe & Dibden II despite beating New Milton III by 25 runs.

They were dismissed for 153 with Mike Mortimer, 38, Will Brooks, 34, and John Maher, 20, the main scorers against Nick Gossip, 4-18. New Milton were restricted by Brooks, 3-31, and Colin Rees, 3-36, and replied with 128-9.

Brockenhurst II owed much to Mandalia, 70 not out, Edmunds, 34, and Tony Dias, 34, for their 194 with Mitchell taking 4-41. Verwood won by four wickets thanks to Kevin Hall, 82 not out, and Steve Pink, 32.

Danny Davies, 37, Tim Robinson, 38, and Paul Bailey, 36 not out, took Ringwood II to 161-5. Will Everitt took 3-29 for Alderholt II who were skittled out for 84 as only Brad Greatorex, 33, and Ben Race, 32, resisted Richard Philpott, 5-29.

Mudeford III progressed to 215-6 through Gary Tennant, 47 not out, and Rob Boulton, 51. Bransgore II lost wickets to Ian Tennant, 3-32, and Simon Keeping, 3-3, and despite good knocks from Mitchell, 25, Churchill, 20, and Cox, 20, they were all out for 97.
