A SALISBURY man has been arrested in Belgium in connection with the murder of a
millionaire businessman and his family.
Kenneth Regan (54), also known as Kenneth Avery, was captured by Belgian police on Sunday and has been detained awaiting extradition proceedings.
He was named earlier this year as one of three suspects officers wanted to speak to in connection with the death of Amarjit Chohan (46), whose body was washed ashore near Bournemouth Pier on April 22.
The body of the Mr Chohan's 25-year-old wife Nancy was discovered three months later, in the sea near Poole. The couple's young sons, Devinder (four months) and Ravinder (19 months), and Mrs Chohan's mother, Charanjit Kaur (51), are still missing.
The wealthy haulage boss and his family disappeared from their home in Hounslow, West London, on February 16.
Relatives raised the alarm and officers later dug up a field near Stoodleigh, in Devon, where they believe Mr Chohan was buried before being dumped at sea.
Last week, Peter Rees (38), of Kings Close, Rowlands Castle, Hampshire, was charged with the five killings and with preventing Mr Chohan's burial.
