A working group has been set up to complete the £250,000 restoration of the Harris organ at St Mary's Church, in Calne.
The organ, which was donated by the Harris family of meat tycoons in 1907, fell into a state of repair and was out of commission for a year.
It is now back in action after the completion of phase one of the refurbishment, and the Friends Of St Mary's have decided to set up the working group to concentrate on raising funds for the two remaining phases.
The group will also be tasked with financing a small kitchen and toilets, which will enable the historic church to host more concerts.
The Friends have also recently produced a brochure, which includes the history of the building and plans for the organ's refurbishment, to help attract corporate sponsorship or donations to help fund the project.
Philip Mann, chairman of the Friends, which was set up ten years ago, said: "I think the progress we have made for a town of this size has been remarkable. There has been a lot of enthusiasm from the public."
