CHIPPENHAM Town were comfortable 4-1 winners over Screwfix Direct League side Westbury in last night's friendly at Hardenhuish Park.
The visitors took a shock early lead when Wayne Wheeler lobbed Town keeper Mark Hervin, but Chippenham were soon level when Scott Walker fired in a low drive from 18 yards.
Former Swindon Town youngster Nathan Edwards celebrated signing for the Bluebirds by heading a second goal midway through the first half.
Martin Paul made it 3-1 shortly after.
A superb ball from Edwards found Paul unmarked and the striker lashed home a crisp half-volley.
Paul made it 4-1 before the half-time interval with another first-time strike, following Gary Horgan's cross.
Chippenham went on to dominate the second half, but failed to add to their lead despite numerous chances.
