A scheme is being run for those wishing to find out how to be more environmentally aware in their everyday life.
Called Permaculture, the idea is to use less energy to create more. Methods include recycling bathwater, using journeys to accomplish several purposes at once, recognizing how to use the space in different areas of your garden, including companion planting and no-dig gardening.
The course at a Swindon farm costs £44 and runs from Friday, September 19 to Sunday, September 21. People on benefits may be able to register for £5. Contact Lorraine Stanton for details on 01793 852115 or at lorraine@nusoft.demon.co.uk
