GREEN-FINGERED Susan Bugden's dedication to making her front garden look beautiful paid off this year, for it gained her top prize in the annual Salisbury district council gardens competition.
Mrs Bugden, who lives in Douglas Haig Road, Salisbury, received her prize from council chairman Frank Bissington during the annual Salisbury country and carden show, held at Hudson's Field, Salisbury.
This year's competition attracted more entries than last year coming from proud gardeners as far apart as Landford and Zeals.
