IT is with sadness that we hear of the death of Keith Small a man who was dedicated to serving the people of Swindon for more than 20 years.
He was well known for his honesty, trustworthiness and for caring about his community.
His family will miss him deeply and he was respected by those who served with him.
Elder local statesmen like the mayor Derek Benfield have praised Mr Small for his helpful and supportive nature, while young politicians like Justin Tomlinson said he was an inspiration.
We offer our deepest condolences to Mr Small's son Kevin and partner Sylvia. Their loss is Swindon's loss too.
