How sad that Mrs Fell describes the Halloween event at Lydiard and no doubt other such events as squandering public money on frivolous entertainment.
Over 400 people paid to attend, including my son who thoroughly enjoyed himself.
It gave a fun, safe environment to enjoy Halloween.
Would Mrs Fell have preferred all these people wandering the streets knocking on her door that night?
I am not always Swindon Borough Council's biggest fan and I am well aware that there are plenty of essential services that need money, but most people also need a bit of fun from time to time.
I look forward to Mrs Fell standing in the next council elections to ensure our money is spent the way she wants it spent after she's cancelled Christmas of course.
