WITH regard to the article Trying to Reduce Teen Pregnancies children today know full well what causes pregnancies.

Sadly, a great many of them do not care, thinking it cannot possibly happen to them.

Let's face it TV is so explicit, who could fail to not know, and my children were given sex education at school at seven to eight years old.

It's a subject giggled about, constantly talked about, it's human nature, it's life itself.

But it's made foremost in their young lives, as sex and violence is pushed down their throats from birth, on TV, if it is not censored for them, or they are not given guidance.

It's fraught with many pitfalls but it is still a wonderful world, and the love between two people is precious.

To have a home, partner, and security of a loving family, is alien to some.

I do wish more was explained of the emotional side of life to these children. Not controlling their feelings is the main problem; living as they see it life to the full, with drink, drugs, and sex never quite knowing what is happening in our world.

Some just want love.

At least Swindon/Wiltshire is a pretty good place to live (mostly) and help is always at hand somewhere.
