Wine-tasting Rotarians will be taking a vintage trip to France to raise money for Children in Need.
The South Cotswolds Rotary Club will be driving from Tetbury on Sunday on a wine run to the Burgundy and Beaujolais region.
They are running a competition to estimate the combined mileage of the two cars on the round trip.
The cars will be crewed by Malmesbury town councillor Ray Sanderson, Kevin Thirkettle from Sherston, Owen Brady from Bradenstoke, Allan Collins from Dauntsey, Roy Guest of Grittenham and Basil Mason-Smith from Tetbury.
The crews will be driving a Honda Accord estate loaned by Morning Star Honda of Chippenham and an Audi A4 Avant supplied by Northfield Audi of Tetbury.
"Last year the Rotary Club was able to donate £1,850 to Children in Need from the proceeds of a similar competition" said Rotarian David Holborrow.
Entries cost £1 and the closest guess will win £100. Entry forms are available from Mr Sanderson on (01666) 822303 or Mr Collins on (01666) 510514.
