THREE police officers were involved in a scuffle when they arrested a suspected fraudster in a Marlborough bank on Monday.
Staff in the HSBC Bank in the High Street became suspicious of the activities of a customer at lunchtime on Monday.
Three officers, Sgt Steve McGrath, PC Geordie Forster and PC Ivor Noyce, arrested the man.
A member of the public said: "The man fought like a tiger and it took all the strength of the three officers to restrain him."
None of the officers was hurt in the scuffle.
Police said the man, a Londoner, was wanted in connection with fraudulent bank transactions in other parts of the country.
