BLUEBIRDS caretaker boss Adie Mings is relishing the prospect of taking on one of his former clubs in the FA Trophy at the end of the month.
Chippenham will play Ryman Premier Division Basingstoke in the second round at Hardenhuish Park on Saturday November 29.
The two clubs have met twice in recent friendlies. Chippenham were beaten 4-1 at Camrose Road in July, a year after the Bluebirds triumphed 2-0 at Hardenhuish Park.
Mings said: "It is going to be a very tough game. We just need to look at the way they played against us in pre-season to tell that. With Basingstoke being one of my old clubs it would certainly make it very nice to put one over on them.
