WITH the Premier Division leaders in Wiltshire Senior Cup action, AFC Stratton have the perfect chance to close the gap on Trowbridge and Biddestone, writes RAY BURROUGHS.
Stratton are at home to Melksham Town Reserves and need to win to keep up the pressure at the top of the table.
Manager Stef Kucynski was pleased with his side's victory over Westbury last weekend and a similar display could earn the Kingsdown based side another three points.
Purton Reserves' young side did well to beat Warminster last weekend and manager Iain Restell will be hoping the youngsters can turn on another good performance against Westbury United at the Red House.

Junior Division One leaders Calne Town Reserves travelled to Ballards Ash to take on Wootton Bassett United and will need to be at their best to beat the home side who are fifth in the table and on a good day can turn in some useful results.
Joint leaders Trowbridge Town Reserves could also face a tough time visiting Ferndale Rodbourne.
The Swindon side's form has been a bit patchy so far this season but they seem to save their best performances for the top clubs.
Bromham, in third place, are at home to AFC Stratton Reserves and will also have to pull out all the stops to enable them to keep up among the leaders.
Junior Division Two leaders New College are in action in the Fountain Trophy's Junior Cup at Biddelstone while their nearest rivals Blunsdon United Reserves and Swindon Asians clash in the league at Blunsdon.
West Swindon, who have been steadily picking up the points in recent weeks, find themselves in fourth spot and three points against bottom club QT Swindon could see them in the top three.
Trax seem to have lost their way in recent weeks and will need to find their form against visitors Minety who are having a good season.
