RESIDENTS in Bowerhill, Melksham, have been asked to comment on proposals for a new traffic-calming scheme.
Suggestions for the plan, covering Falcon Road, Mitchell Drive and Halifax Road, include build outs to reduce the road width to one lane and slow traffic.
Other features include speed bumps and pedestrian refuge islands to improve safety.
Letters, leaflets and questionnaires will be delivered to homes and residents, who have three weeks to comment on the scheme from Monday.
The scheme is being developed by Wiltshire County Council and consultants Ringway Parkman, and has been funded by developers Westbury Homes and Bloor Homes.
