CHRIS Taylor will be making changes for tomorrow's Wilts Senior Cup first round match at home to Amesbury after running out of patience with his Warminster side.
The Warminster manager blasted his team's performance in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at home to Purton Reserves, who included six 16-year-olds in their team, and admitted some of his players needed to improve.
He said: "It was a very poor game on Saturday between two very poor teams.
"We didn't pass the ball properly and there were only two real chances in the game, one for us which was saved and one for them which they scored.
"Some of my players need to buck their ideas up because if they don't we will be knocked out of the county cup."
Sam Collier broke the deadlock on Saturday with a cracking 25-yard in a game which looked like ending goal-less. Purton goalkeeper Ben Collier kept the lead intact, making an outstanding save in the last five minutes.
Taylor admitted that Saturday's defeat was his teams last chance and he was now prepared to bring in some of his new players.
New signings Nick and Richard Snook, from Bristol, and Chris Tricker, who has just returned from a year of travelling, started Saturday's match on the substitutes bench but Taylor is now ready to give them their opportunity.
He said: "It wasn't fair to start them on Saturday but the other lads didn't perform and so I will be making changes tomorrow.
"At least two of my three new signings will start the match and will hopefully freshen things up a bit."
