A FIREWORKS spectacular in Bradford on Avon drew a record crowd on Saturday and organisers are already appealing for sponsors to make next year's event bigger and better.
More than 2,000 spectators crowded into the Beehive Field, Trowbridge Road, for the display organised by the parent associations of the three Bradford schools.
All money raised at the event is split between the schools.
Spokesman for the organisers Ian McLellan said: "This has grown into a true community event for the benefit of the schools.
"A lot of people said it was the best display they have seen and that it gets better every year.
"As well as all the parents involved we would like to thank Wesley McKelvey at the Canal Tavern, Mace store and Budgens for their help in making this event a resounding success."
Award winning firework company Northern Lights did the display and St Laurence student Jackson Lapes did a fire juggling routine throughout the evening.
Mr McLellan said: "This is an expensive event to stage and ideally if we could find a company to sponsor the cost of the fireworks next year's event could be bigger and better still we are open to offers."
