Swindon Chrysler and Jeep dealer Dick Lovett is revving up for the arrival of the new Chrysler Crossfire this weekend.
Motorists can get their first viewing of the Crossfire tomorrow November 15, at the dealership in Ashworth Road, Bridgemead, before test-driving the vehicle from Monday November 17.
The new outing of the Chrysler brand is a low-slung two-seater sports coupe, which combines American design with German engineering.
Boasting a sleek and sculptured appearance, the car comes with a 3.2-litre V-6 engine capable of accelerating from 0 to 62mph in 6.5 seconds, and reaching a top speed of 155mph.
The Crossfire is available with six-speed manual transmission, for £27,260, or five-speed auto-matic, for £28,500.
Julian Wraight, general manager at Dick Lovett in Swindon, said: "The Chrysler Crossfire is one of the most anticipated and exciting product launches from Chrysler and Jeep in recent history.
"It has generated a lot of interest locally.
"We took our first order in November last year from someone who saw it at the 2002 Motor Show, and have since dealt with a huge number of enquiries.
"From next week, local motorists will have the opportunity to come along to the showroom and see for themselves just what the excitement is all about."
