A FUNDRAISING drive is carrying on in memory of Trowbridge schoolgirl Charlotte Wakeham with several planned for the run up to Christmas.
Charlotte's grandmother Wendy Bryant has booked Melksham Labour Club for an all-day darts tournament on December 20.
Ms Bryant said: "We will have several trophies and rounds to the competition on the day but the most important thing is to keep the place full all day. It is a serious tournament but is open to anyone who wants to come along on the day and have a go."
Ms Bryant has also organised a singing and dancing competition to be held at Melksham Labour Club on December 19.
Proceeds from both events will go to the Charlotte's Chance of Life fund set up last year to pay for respite care and medical research after Charlotte was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour when she was eight years old.
Despite trying new drugs to treat the tumour Charlotte died in September.
Her family have kept up the fundraising and plan to donate funds raised to research for cancer treatments and to families in similar situations.
