SWINDON Supermarine boss Ray Baverstock was left cursing missed chances as his side drew 1-1 at Stourport Swifts.
Despite creating the better chances, Marine were forced to settle for a point which sees them slip to 11th in the Dr Martens Western Division table albeit just two points off of fifth place.
"It was a decent result but we've had two or three great chances towards the end of the game and I think we deserved to win.
"We're just not taking our chances at the moment, we need to be more ruthless in front of goal.
"We're drawing games we should be winning and if that continues we'll start to lose contact with the top eight."
Both sides had chances in a dour encounter and Marine forward Jimmy Carter could have opened the scoring inside two minutes, shooting wide from Barrie Matthews' pass.
Steve Davies then had a header well saved by Ryan Price before Marine were almost caught on the break.
Richard Ball chased down Price's long clearance but Tom King stopped the striker's effort and Willie Dunn's follow up was also blocked.
Carter then saw his header saved and King produced another smart stop from Mark Jones' free-kick.
Miller grazed the Stourport upright from Carter's cut-back before the Swifts opened the scoring after half an hour when Robbie Taylor calmly netted his fourth of the season after collecting another route one punt from the home side.
The lead lasted just three minutes as Craig Webb grappled Matthews to the deck inside the Stourport area and Giles Harris converted the spot-kick.
Taylor should have doubled his tally on the stroke of half-time but missed a virtual open goal.
After the interval, Matthews headed a Dave Gee cross over and Miller was also narrowly off target from Dave Toomey's centre.
Miller also had a volley well saved before Dave Slattery almost sealed a late win with a brilliant solo run and strike which was scrambled clear.
Supermarine: King, Bennett, Futcher, Gee, Copp, Davies, Harris, Matthews, Terry, J Carter, Miller. Subs: Toomey, Slattery, Knox, Bunt.
