THE nearside front wing of my blue VW Golf was recently damaged by a hit and run driver in the car park of Sainsbury's and Homebase at Bridgemead.
The damage was such that I needed a new wing and the perpetrator must have known that he or she had dented a fellow motorist's car.
Since I did not wish to claim on my insurance, I have opted for a cut-price, marginally sub-standard repair. Even so, this will cost me nearly £300.
If this recalcitrant driver should see this letter, I hope they feel at least a twinge of conscience for not owning up. The least they deserve is an Unsocial Behaviour Order.
