GOALS plenty was the order of the day in first round ties in the Advertiser Cup.
County Ground led the way with a 19-0 demolition of Blyskawica, Danny Bourne scoring seven goals, Jason Daley six, two apiece from Paul Loveridge and Danny Williams, and the others from Lee Randall, and Gavin Cook.
County Ground Reserves also had a big win, beating South Marston 6-2. Darren Wallis scored three, with the others from Tom Reynolds, Kev Taylor and Carl Savory.
Queensfield beat Queenstown 6-2. On target were Chivers, Smith, Goddard, Gooch, Scanlon, and McDonough.
Westwood beat Ridgeway 10-1, Keith Slater scoring four goals, Darren Higgs a hat-trick, and the others from Aaron Tucker, Steve Brierley and Micky Fedai.
Baron Heating beat Woolworths 3-1, Alan Byrne scoring a penalty for Woolworths.
Windmill had an impressive win thanks to a 30 yard yarder from Steve Cole, Andy Youngsan and John Husband both scoring goals from headers, the other goal was a penalty from Nick Thomas.
In the George Thomas/Don Rogers Cup first round, Grant Songhurst and James Macarthy scored hat -tricks for Manor to beat Newtown 9-1. Robin Jones, Darren Collick, and Steve Kelly got the other goals for Manor.
Green Baize were unable to beat Lower Stratton Reserves. The game was 1-1 at full time, Lower Stratton getting the all-important goal in extra time,
Shrivenham versus The Regent was a close game but Shrivenham came out on top with a 5-4 win, thanks to goals from Naveem Ahmed, and two apiece for David Hay and Adam Webb. Regent's scorers were Richard Plumb (2), Michael Corcoran and Simon Szokobski.
Trax beat S&R Motors 1-0, Mel McCue scoring the goal.
Bulldog beat Westwood Reserves 3-0, and Wroughton beat Ramsbury 9-2, Both of Ramsbury goals came from penalties by Nick Woodward.
In the only league game Spectrum beat Trailers 8-5.
Bernard Carnegie proved age is not a problem in the game aged 54 he scored one of the goals for Spectrum. The others came from Daniel Doole and Liam Preedy.
