Chippenham Under 15s despatched Devizes 33-5 in their latest outing at Allington Field.
The first half was dominated by the home side, with Matt Whitehead grabbing the first try as early as the fifth minute, Lee Audis adding the conversion.
Devizes responded with an unconverted try but Whitehead then scored his second to stretch the lead to 12-5 at the break.
In the second half, Chippenham's forwards tightened their hold on the game, and Whitehead completed his hat-trick, Audis this time converting.
Halfway through the second half, Nick Stewart scored under the posts after good work from Peter Rawson broke through and in the final five minutes Richard Smith ran in his debut try.
Audis converted both to complete the victory.
n CHIPPENHAM Under 16s went down 29-17 to a combined Melksham/Devizes team.
Chippenham, missing a total of 10 regulars, borrowed three players from the opposition to be able to field a full team.
Steven Martinez making his debut , scored a well-worked try and Rhys Fannin also crossed over in the first half, after an impressive solo run.
In the second half, Matthew Clark grabbed a third consolation try, running from the halfway line and side-stepped three defenders to score under the posts.
