DEFENDING champions Mitel are starting to find some form after making a slow start in the under 15 division of the Cirencester & District Youth League.
A 6-2 win over Bourton moved the title holders back up the table.
Mitel opened the scoring early, with Tom Farnell lobbing the ball over the Bourton keeper.
However, just as they did the previous week against Highworth, Bourton stepped up their game, and notched a deserved equaliser on the half hour.
With only two minutes of the half remaining, Bourton won themselves a penalty when the Mitel keeper brought down an advancing forward.
The kick was duly dispatched for a 2-1 lead, but within seconds of the restart an incredible 35-yard looping shot from Mitel captain Steve Robertson put the sides level once again.
The second half saw Mitel increase the pressure, with Bourton looking dangerous on the occasional break.
With 20 minutes remaining, Mitel had what looked like a good goal disallowed for a marginal offside decision.
But within minutes, another looping cross was hit deep into the Bourton area and Robertson stole in at the back post to get his second and Mitel's third of the game.
More Mitel pressure followed and a Sean Stevens' corner curled straight into the Bourton net to increase the lead to 4-2.
Bourton's legs began to tire in the last couple of minutes, and two additional goals from Stevens and Robertson to complete his hat-trick made for a flattering four-goal margin.
Highworth are also recovering from a lacklustre start to the season in the under 15 section.
The Swindon side triumphed 6-0 at Cirencester Juniors.
Highworth opened the scoring on seven minutes from a Ryan King corner.
Alex Parker picked up the loose ball and passed inside to Daniel Whitaker, who blasted in to the back of the net.
Then, in a devastating four-minute spell, the visitors found themselves 3-0 up.
First, Lorien Bardwell powered his way down the right wing and rifled the ball from an acute angle, and then Parker scored following a delightful lobbed pass over the Ciren defence from Whitaker.
Bardwell fired in a close-range rebound on 26 minutes to make it 4-0. Highworth continued to pepper the Ciren goal but some good keeping kept them from extending their lead.
A minute into the second half and it was five without reply as James Penny found Whitaker in the box but a great save from the stand-in Ciren keeper kept the ball out. But Parker skillfully swivelled and blasted the ball into the goal.
Parker and Bardwell for the visitors both came close to completing hat-tricks before Ben Tollington scored the goal of the match, beating three defenders before shooting beyond the keeper's dive.
The quickest goal of the day was scored by Malmesbury in their 5-1 win at Cirencester Cents.
James Brown put the visitors ahead after just 45 seconds.
Daniel Done and an own goal made it 3-0 before half-time.
Mark Lane increased the lead after the break and Brown completed the scoring after Ciren had pulled one back.
Scott Barnes led the way for Brunel Boys as they registered a convincing 10-1 victory over Ashton Keynes in the under 13 Cup.
Brunel hit five goals in each half Ashton's consolation coming in the first period with Barnes grabbing four goals.
Martin Lam, Joe Gidzinski, Paul Barnes, Jack Peddifoot, Paul Squires and John Davis completed the tally.
