ICON Business Solutions, a global consultancy operating across three continents, has now launched its service in Wiltshire and the south west.

Originating in Australia, IBS is a business consultancy service aimed at the small to medium business market.

"It is about giving people back their dreams," said business adviser Ian Hilder, who lives in Wiltshire.

"Many people who run their own businesses are technically skilled at what they are producing, but often don't have business experience.

"They end up working up to 80 hours a week, as they struggle to manage staff, deal with their accounts and satisfy customers' demands, but it doesn't have to be like that."

Mr Hilder said that with the help of IBS consultants, owners can put in place systems which will take much of the toil and guess-work out of running a business.

IBS believes there are no benefits for the business owner in having someone else do the planning for them, so its advisers offer a hands-on approach for the business owner to work with them, until all the systems are in place and running smoothly.
