THE news that a mysterious figure viewing James Dyson's home in Little Somerford was his son Sam and not pop star Robbie William will disappoint fans of the pop star.
Mr Dyson put the 18th century Kingsmead Mill on the market for £4m earlier this year after spending £20m on Dodington Park Estate, Gloucestershire.
Rumours abounded as to who would buy the house when a tall, dark man was seen being driven in a 4x4 to the property.
But Mr Dyson's wife Deirdre scotched the rumours when she told locals the mystery man was her son.
Debbie Stoneham, who runs the Fourways Stores in Great Somerford, said: "I am a bit sad Robbie is not moving in. I would have loved to deliver his milk and bread every morning."
Estate Agent Knight Frank confirmed the house had been sold.
