PEWSEY Vale School's recent production of Carrie's War, the story of a Second World War evacuee, played to full houses.
The cast of 14 presented two evening shows for parents and friends of the school and two afternoon shows for their own school friends and the pupils from Pewsey Primary School.
Co-producer and head of English John Hobbs said he was delighted with the success of the show.
Carrie was played by two students. Annabel Edwards played the younger girl and Felicity Corke the older girl.
Another major role, that of Hebzibah Green, the housekeeper who relates a legend to Carrie, was played by Carla Swatton.
Students John Goddard and Ollie Symons helped with the stage lighting and sound.
