DEVIZES artist Luke Bevan is holding his second London show this year with co-artist Will Crawshaw.
The two have formed a multi-disciplinary arts company, Blew Piranha, to promote their combined creative talents.
Following the success of their spring show entitled Colourfield Culture, their second show, Big Paintings, is being staged in The Vault at The Foundry pub in London's EC2 district. The show runs until November 30.
The Foundry is a popular venue for artists and musicians, andoffers the facility for artists to display work not been previously shown to the public.
The latest exhibition will feature new works from both artists, including a series of man in black studies of Johnny Cash, singers Gram Parsons and Betty Boo, and American road poet Jack Kerouac, as well as a number of paintings inspired by the idea of the road movies.
Mr Bevan, 27, was born in Devizes and lived in Wedhampton and Market Lavington. He attended Urchfont Primary School, Lavington School and Devizes School sixth form before going on to Trowbridge College of Further Education where he undertook a foundation arts course. He now lives at Claverton, near Bath. Paintings by Blew Piranha can be viewed at www.blewpiranha.co.uk
