THAMESDOWN Dial A Ride and Community Transport is appealing for volunteer drivers.
The organisation, which helps elderly or disabled people get about, needs someone to drive a minibus and a second volunteer for the door-to-door car service.
The minibus driver is required every Tuesday and Friday between 8.30am and 4pm to transport elderly patients between Swindon and the Thamesdown Stroke Centre in Pinehurst.
A car driver is also needed every Tuesday to take people from the Swindon area, that are unable to use normal public transport, to destinations anywhere in mainland Britain.
Volunteers for both posts must have full, valid and clean driving licences.
The organisation will provide full training.
Anyone who is interested can contact John Reeves on Swindon 617828.
EARLY Christmas cheer raised more than £600 for animal charities.
