Boating could return in the spring to the 1920s lake in Warminster's pleasure park which has been leaking for a number of years.
Hydrock Consultants monitor- ed the site and concluded that water is likely to have infiltrated a land drain on the side of the lake and a redundant overflow drain from the former open air swimming pool.
Funding for the work costing £13,000 will come from the town council and West Wiltshire District Council.
