BOWYERS worker Lee King assaulted two police officers and smashed a glass door pane after a night's drinking in Trowbridge.
King, 19, of High Street, Semington, was given a two-year community rehabilitation order on Friday after admitting the offences at an earlier hearing.
King, who suffers from alcohol and aggression problems, was also ordered to pay £50 compensation for the door after the incidents on October 22. Chippenham magistrates added that King should pay £25 compensation to each police officer and £55 costs.
Defence solicitor Michael Wills said King was distressed and had not intended to assault the officers. He added that his client had been in care for quite a long time, but was now getting his life back together with his new job.
