YOUNG people from Swindon have won prizes ranging from vouchers to DVD players in a library competition.
The competition was held to publicise the fact that libraries lend DVDs, videos, video games, music and audio books as well as books.
Themed around the Lord of the Rings, it featured quizzes and a colouring competition.
In the advanced quiz, James Tollington, 16, of Highworth, won the first prize of a DVD player, while two DVDs went to runner-up Mark Taylor of Moredon.
In the intermediate quiz, Sam Kearns, 12, from West Swindon, won a collectors' edition of the Two Towers, while runner-up Luke Kavanagh, 12, won two DVDs.
The colouring competition was won by Sarah Manley, nine, of Parks, who received two DVDs, while the runner up prize of a £10 voucher went to Curtis Warner of Wroughton.
