RAIL passengers travelling between London Paddington and the south west in the next two weeks are being advised to check their journey details with the start of track maintenance work.
Network Rail is replacing track on routes used by First Great Western services to Devon, Cornwall, Taunton, Castle Cary, Westbury, Newbury and Pewsey.
Work starts on Monday and runs until Friday. Further maintenance work will be carried out from December 1-5.
Services to Somerset, Devon and Cornwall will leave London Paddington up to 30 minutes earlier while a section of line between Westbury and Bedwyn will be closed.
Services will continue to run between London Paddington and all of First Great Western's normal destinations except Pewsey, which will be served by a shuttle coach service connecting into train services at Swindon.
