A commanding performance from Marlborough Town swept aside local rivals Pewsey Vale 8-1 in the first round of the Under 16 Barry Curtis Memorial Trophy.

Marlborough got off to a flying start, with Roger Hill and Will Bryant finishing superb passing moves to put them two up inside five minutes. Bryant then fired home from 25 yards and Greg Braney converted a corner to give Marlborough a 4-0 half-time lead.

Early in the second half Shane Spring gave Pewsey a glimmer of hope from the penalty spot but within a minute Ryan Keeley headed home another corner to make it 5-1.

Hill then notched his second of the game, Stuart Cody rounded the keeper to make it seven and Ben Crame capped an impressive team performance by scoring from an impossible angle to send Marlborough through.

Also in the under 16 competition, Cricklade Youth lost 4-2 to Trowbridge Wanderers.

UNDER 15

Westbury Youth eased through to the next round of the League Cup with a 20-0 home win against Durrington Rangers.

Marlborough Town were 6-1 winners against Trowbridge Wanderers.

Simon Neale, Joe Brace (2), John Burton and Macca McCarthy (2) were on target for Marlborough.

A hat-trick from Jamie Fyall and one apiece from George Croty and Stephan Klukowski saw home side FC Chippenham safely through to the next round running out 5-0 winners at home to Amesbury Juniors.

Devizes Town Youth proved too strong for Red Division Calne Town Youth, winning 8-0. Tom Slater (3), Dan Sloane (2), Luke Hopper (2) and Nathan Phillimore scored for Devizes.

Red Division leaders Wroughton Juniors defeated Chippenham Town Youth 5-1.

UNDER 14

Goals from Scott Cunningham (8), Toby Dawson (5), Danny Amoroso (2), Tom Parr, Jack Francis and Craig Sheppard saw Trowbridge Town Youth to a comfortable 18-1 home win against Calne Town Youth in the League Cup. Jack Trowbridge scored for Calne.

Devizes Blues ran out 6-0 away winners against Trowbridge Town Youth 2nd with goals from James Muir (3), Marcus Rossi, Dion Barakov and Simon Oldham.

UNDER 13

Chippenham Town Youth suffered a cruel blow in the pre-match warm-up against home side Trowbridge Town Youth when they lost their keeper through injury.

Under-strength Chippenham battled on, but went down 5-0 at the final whistle.

UNDER 12

A hat-trick from Luke Dibbley and a double hat-trick from Elliott Corp gave Chippenham Town Youth their first win of the season running out 9-0 winners against AFC Corsham 2nd.

Warminster Highbury relinquished a 3-0 lead, to lose 5-3 to visiting Trowbridge Wanderers 2nd.

Joe Martin, Kieren Delaney and Stuart Lisowski scored for Highbury.

UNDER 11

The League Cup tie between FC Chippenham 2nd and AFC Corsham was all over at half-time when Corsham went in at the break 10-1 up.

It didn't get any better after the break as Corsham hit nine more to triumph 19-1.

There were four hat-tricks from Robin Shaw, Jordan Murphy, Sam Thomson and Tom Smith, while Daniel Frankom, Darrin Moss and Simon Burt each added two goals with Max Gauntlett finishing the scoring.

Daniel Case gave Devizes the lead in their tie against Melksham Park, but Case's side were eventually beaten 4-1.

Hosts Warminster Highbury were thumped 12-2 by visiting Trowbridge Town Youth Reds.

Early goals from Ottis Young, Stephen Oakley and Jordan-Lee Gullis put Trowbridge in command and Daniel Price added a fourth with a great shot from distance. Highbury pulled one back to make it 4-1 but three further goals before half-time put the game out of Highbury's reach.

Trowbridge scored a further five goals in the second half through Gullis (2), Oakley, Josh Ferguson, a hat-trick from Young and one from man-of-the-match Finn Young.

Sam McKintee scored both the Highbury goals.

Local rivals Chippenham Town Youth and FC Chippenham produced an excellent game of football with Town triumphing 6-2. Chippenham Town Youth saw goals from Peter Quainton (2), Chris Newth and a hat-trick from Alex Jenkins.

Calne Town Youth controlled their game against home side Pewsey Vale from the start taking a 3-0 half-time lead then finishing 4-0 winners. Mike Coulson, Stan Keen, Simon Notman and Stuart Windsor scored for Calne.

UNDER 10 LEAGUE CUP

Only five games survived the weather in the under 10 Cup.

White Horse Juniors ran out 3-1 winners against Castle Combe Colts, FC Chippenham were 5-1 winners against Shaw & Whitley and Bradford on Avon beat Castle Combe Colts 2nd 11-0.

Warminster Highbury 2nd were 4-1 winners against Bromham and Warminster Highbury's first team ran out 4-1 winners away to Bradford on Avon 2nd.
