POLICE are seeking a cashback criminal who stole £300 cash and other items from stores around Devizes by using a stolen Switch card.
The man used the card in four supermarkets in the town centre within half an hour on November 14, taking minor items like toilet rolls and tobacco but each time asking for the maximum £50 cashback.
He struck first at Tesco in Maryport Street where he made two purchases, one in the main store and one at the
tobacco counter, taking £50 cashback each time.
Next he was in Sainsbury's across the road where he stole £50 cash and £7.19 of groceries before repeating his crime at the tobacco counter. Iceland was his next target, where he left with £50 cash and a two-litre bottle of Coke.
Finally, he hit Somerfield in the High Street, leaving with £50 cash and a packet of cigarettes worth £4.80.
He is described as white, 5ft10in tall, wearing a beige top, blue jeans and a blue baseball cap.
