THE Year 12 enterprise group at Devizes School will be joining forces with young charity fundraiser Michael Clark to raise money for terminally ill children at the town's Christmas Market tomorrow.

The group, which calls itself No Nonsense, will be using the coloured helium-filled balloons they are marketing to hold a balloon race in aid of the Joshua Foundation, which provides holidays for children with terminal illnesses.

They are working with Michael Clark, 17, another Devizes School student who has been raising money for the charity for the last six months and has already sent £1,000 to the foundation.

A quarter of the money raised tomorrow will go to the Joshua Foundation. A prize of £10 of luxury goodies will go to the owner of each colour of balloon silver, gold, pearl, red and green which goes furthest, with another prize worth £20 for the balloon that travels furthest overall.

It costs £1 for each balloon or £3 for four balloons. The stall will be located near the Corn Exchange. Anyone wanting to pre-book their balloon should call 07092 038711.

The young enterprise team will be entered in county, regional and national competitions to judge how their company has fared and the experience of working in a team will stand each of them in good stead for their future careers.
