WALKING the high wire is as easy as ABC for 11-year-old Malmesbury School pupil Laci Fossett.
He will be at the school for the next term as The Moscow State Circus rests up for its winter break in Oaksey for the next few months.
Laci, who was born in Portsmouth, travels the country with his parents and brother and sister, living in a caravan wherever the circus stops.
He said he loves the life of the circus but added moving from place to place was difficult.
"In the circus every week you are in a different place so I have been to many schools.
"It is difficult because you make friends and have to leave again.
"But I love the circus. There is a lot to do and you get a lot of space to play in. It is like having your own field.
"You also get to watch the shows for free and there are other children to play with," he said.
Laci began performing at the age of three spurred on by his parents who had a knife-throwing act.
Laci trains every day on his favourite acts, the high wire and acrobatic tricks.
Although not performing at the moment he hopes to get his spotlight in the big top soon.
