POPPY Appeal collectors living in and around Shrewton have been honoured by the Royal British Legion for their long service in the annual collection marking Remembrance Day.
The ten collectors have clocked up hundreds of years of service to the appeal, some of them serving for more than 40 years.
County Field Officer for the Royal British Legion Colonel Peter Douglas visited Shrewton to present certificates to the collectors, who each year sell poppies to residents in Shrewton, Orcheston, Winterbourne Stoke and Tilshead.
